Antwon Dennis

Antwon Dennis was wrongfully convicted for a crime he did not commit in 1988 serving 25 to life. He was represented by defense lawyer Michael Vecchion who started working for the DA's office while representing Antwon, which was a conflict of interest. Supreme Court Justice Shawndya Simpson stated that "a special prosecutor should have been appointed because Vecchion who repped Dennis in 20 court appearance-was holding a supervisory position at the DA's office during the trial.” Mr. Antwon Dennis’s clemency application has been in for a while now. Mr. Dennis has accomplished two years of college, completed all programs that was assigned from the state, and more programs that weren't assigned. Also, certificates in many jobs category such as maintenance, plumbing, flooring, etc. Mr. Dennis has many jobs offers awaiting his return out in society when he is released from prison.
