People are suffering and dying in solitary confinement, which is exacerbated by and exacerbating the spread of COVID-19 in prisons and jails. The legislature continues to have the votes to pass HALT and must reconvene remotely immediately and pass HALT now! On May 6, the HALT Solitary Campaign is hosting actions in Albany, Binghamton, the Bronx, Buffalo, Long Island, Rochester, and Yonkers, and all actions will be on Zoom.
