My father was incarcerated at the age of 82 for committing a non-violent crime of burglary- he took a plea five years. While incarcerated he nearly died -twice first from a severe internal G.I. bleed that went undiagnosed after many visits to the infirmary and second due to COVID-19 which He contracted last December 2020 and was in the ICU for over a month fighting for his life. He is now permanently disabled from it and cannot walk as he has lost the strength in both legs and has trouble breathing carrying out every day tasks. Incarceration at the age of 84 is literally killing our father ...he’s not going to survive much longer. He is currently housed in a harsh maximum security prison even though his crimes are non violent in nature because it is the only flat facility for his walker. He has NEVER carried a weapon of ANY type. We must get him home to our care. He is the kindest and gentlest human being and a devoted loving father of four children and eight grandchildren. PLEASE HELP US🙏
