Knowledge Johnson

Knowledge has been incarcerated for over 40 years, for a string of robberies culminating in the killing Errol Blackwood in 1980. He was sentenced to 75 years to life, and will not be eligible to even see the parole board until he is 95. Though sentenced to die in prison, he has not despaired and instead has transformed his life. He is a devout and committed Quaker and has been accepted as a formal member by the Bulls Head-Oswego Monthly Meeting, a very rare occurrence for an incarcerated individual. He is the Clerk of the Green Haven Quaker Meeting. Everyone who knows Knowledge speaks of his wisdom, soft-spokenness, and quiet dignity. He has served his time and deserves to live out the rest of his days alongside his Quaker family.
